Hackers

Dear all,

The hackers have been at our facebook groups for a while (perhaps you noticed *smile*). For now the group seems to be disabled because dear Facebook has disabled my account instead of dealing with our security issues. Bizarre but such is inscrutable corporate logic.

Hang in there. We will be back.

Nisha

UPDATE:
Someone at Facebook has written and hopefully this will be fixed. Meanwhile we have been told that the trolls claiming to be Nisha Susan have even posted a link to a new Consortium of Pub-going, Loose and Forward Women. Needless to say, don't join that one people. When the group is up and running again, there will be an announcement here. Watch this space.

Also, needless to say if people are posting pictures of shit and corpses and are having a bit of a crazed frenzy about their imaginary need to protect the state of Hindutva, that's not us either. Remember that I am a secret agent of the Vatican. As a secret agent of the Vatican supported by mysterious foreign NGOs and Christian missionaries let me add that with friends and protectors like these trolls, Hindus don't need enemies.

And it's not that the hackers have just changed

  7. Ah too bad! I wondered what happened.

Here's a book that I think many supporters of this campaign will be interested in. My book Sex and Power: Defining History, Shaping Societies, was recently released by Penguin Books. It is based on 5 years of excruciating research and looks at the changes in the Indian ethos in context of sex and sexual morality. What I establish in this book is that, even if misogyny is rooted in old Indian cultural beliefs and customs, the current idea of sexual morality particularly with regards to women, does not hold in a historical context for India. All through the first millennium A.D. women had tremendous sexual freedom and the texts all through this period reflect it and support it!

Here's the blogspot for reviews etc.

  8. Can't u increase the number of admins to five or six? Then they can control if people hack into it. It's the policy Wikipedia uses anyway.. there really is safety in numbers.

  9. Hi Nisha,

There is a phony Nisha Susan account now in charge of the Facebook group, asking people to join a different group. In the brief description given when you click on this character's name, it gives the message "you must be Nisha Susan's friend to see *HIS* full account." That might not be it exactly, but Facebook always uses the correct gender for these things. And anyway, as the real Nisha is not even on Facebook right now, this clearly is an imposter. Good luck getting thing back on track, Nisha!

  10. Also,

The link to the other groups leads to something called "Consortium of Pub-Going, Loose and Forward Women". He's squatting.

  11. Oh dear... Now the group is gone. It seems that either the hackers or Facebook deleted it...

  13. The face book is definately responsible in restoring the group. This group represents a movement which people around the world are aware of. Nothing can defy truth.

  14. The FB group is so important - i sincerely hope you can reclaim it! In solidarity.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hi Nisha, we are all with you... this is ridiculous. Anything we can do - kindly let us know. FB better restore this if not they will loose out...

    ReplyDelete
  16. A suggestion: Given the security problems FB's riddled with, could at least a parallel group be set up on Orkut? This site is surely as popular with Indians as FB is. Moreover, since it's part of the Google network, security lapses won't occur that easily.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hey one more thing, keep changing passwords for this blog page too. Those ppl might also want to hack this one. You never know. Use special characters + numeric combination with atleast 12 digit password.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Good advice Dave.

Nisha - Anivar Arvind say that this is the work of "cracker's" not hackers. Hackers according to him are the good guys like him who work to improve something, while Cracker's are those who crack passwords to destroy. Media, he says has distorted the term "hackers." I have reported the cracking of the FB site of the creep (s) to the FB team and Anavir has also written to some people he knows in the FB team. The link to the filthy site of the cracker seems to have been removed from your blog today. Did FB do this or were you able to do this yourself? Hope the FB team are smart enough to restore your FB site.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Good to hear that the blog is alive! I logged in to FB to check what was happening in the group and didn't find the group. I was alarmed. Glad to see you guys here. Keep up the good work.

  21. Hello lovely people!

Nice to see you all here. Mr Pinto! Do you realise you taught me at Symbiosis! My grammar is still deplorable.

    ReplyDelete
  22. just a caution :)

Sometimes you may have to use laptops or computers that dont belong to you.. always make sure to disable the auto password saver.

Avoid using comps other than your own. There are softwares which trace the passwords even after you log out.

Always keep an eye open on people around you. There is a popular saying "even siva won't be able to catch the thief if he happens to be the member of the house"

There are quite interesting programs on Discovery channel, so far its proved that most of the dangerous games are played by the people who you know well.

I know we have been treating you like a kid, but just know that we care.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hi there again!

So it looks like the group is restored but that all the cracked stuff is still there... Did you do that or is this more work of the cracker?

    ReplyDelete
  24. The group isnt restored yet. I wonder what are the guys at FB doing ? or did the ram sena ppl hire some se*ually frustrated indian moron working for the FB.

Also, the new group created with the similar name does not have the admin or the creators name in the admin list. ...guess, its the hackers.

  25. Hi, Nisha.

I'm an American woman - fairly recent law graduate, actually. I joined the consortium after reading about it online. I live in the States right now, I'm not Indian and not Hindu, but wanted to show my support by joining your movement. The more voices willing to stand up to harassment, violence and threatening behavior, the better.

I believe what has been going on is the work of hackers - mostly because I'm so far removed from India. There's really not a question of someone physically logging onto my computer. They made it seem like I had posted threatening or violent messages from my computer, however, and facebook threatened to shut down my account, too. I sent an inquiry request and received an email back. I just replied with a description of what I think is going on - with notifications including all of the name changes to the group cut and pasted into the email as back as my junkmail file goes back.

Please let me know if I can assist in any other way.

My directorial imagination is running so wild that im imagining the FB guys working on your group like as if they are working on a space craft.

The cheif saying...hey bring that topic here...the subordinate replying..sir, i think this message is from trolls.. his boss screaming back...it doesnt matter... and like 100 people trying to put your group together and still missing the quadra core chip missing!!! lol!!

  30. Hey!
I'm writing to you in the matter of your great pictures at the Consortium blog (never found any other mail adress).
Writing my BA thesis in sociology at University of Gothenburg in Sweden, I have choosen a subject very close by heart. When spending the first two month of this year at a research institution in Nagarabhavi, Bangalore, it coincied with the Mangalore incidents as well as the Valentines Day issues. Therefore I decided to focus on the network Nirbhaya Karnataka together with their associates, the production of space (challenges of boarders, etc.) & manifestations within public space. The focus is on cultural practises (street art, performances...). Yeah, to the real question...
With all my humbleness I ask for if it's okey if I can use some of the Consortium's pictures (posters) in my thesis? It would be fantastic to use as an visual interpretation. What kind of information would you like me to brief (except for the web adress)?
The thesis will only be used in a small academic context & never commersialised of course.
    Loads of thank's!

  31. This is all very sad. To have fallen thus after vanquishing the entire Indian masculinity by merely throwing pink panties at them!
We must consider what else to throw now. Or shall we hand over the entire issue to the Afghan Taliban and seek their protection? They are perhaps, the only secular force that can teach the Hindu Fascists the right lesson.

The very reason for wearing panties is that private parts have to be protected from infection by bacteria and virile viruses. It looks as if by throwing away our panties, we have laid ourselves open to easy infection.

Not by bullets, but by panties- seems to have failed. We might have to go back to Mahatma Gandhi again. Something like a Chaddi March, perhaps; from the Pub in Mangalore? To some Mallya brewery and make Beer.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @R. Sajan

Right-wing experiments with irony don't work when they combine with lessons on panty-wearing. Virile viruses, forsooth.

If there are ideas you hold to be worthwhile, name-calling and bad behaviour aren't going to make them respectable or win them further support.

We still haven't heard one credible argument from anybody on your side for why the attacks in Mangalore were right, and why protesting against those attacks is wrong, leave alone on the larger question of who should make rules and otherwise determine the access of individual women to public spaces.

Is this intellectual poverty a choice or is it a combination of fear and blindness that leaves right-wingers like you with no other option?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hey, Nisha. Is there a way I can get in touch with you at a neutral email address? I can understand that you might not want too many strangers knowing how to get a hold of you. I received an email back from FB, though, and they need some verification from you. I can send you all of the email notifications I've gotten so you can look through them and see if you can verify receiving similar abusive notifications - mostly reflecting all of the abusive name changes to the group. These notifications do include men's names, though I can't be sure they aren't pseudonyms. FB seems unconvinced that the Consortium has been harassed, so they want verification from you. Please let me know if there's a place I can send this info to you.

Thanks! I'm sure it will just take enough people verifying this to convince them.

Please let me know what else I can do.

  34. Ram was a very humble and obidient son.
He did not argue or get back using any form of voilence against his step mother when she wanted him to go to vanvas.

He wasn't interested in power or control.
(Also which god did he worship while he lived?)

On the other hand even Ravana was not that bad either... he did not take advantage of Sita nor did he attempt any physical abuse or neither did he molest her to get her...he rather waited for her consent.

The hindu extremists groups purely want to use religion and ram as tools to find excuses to control and get power because they can easily fool the naive gullible people living down the poverty line in the remote villages and good for nothing people living in the cities.

The fact lies that these hindu extremists are children of the devil. They are the nothing but Rakshasa Sena who are wearing the ram's coat to fool people.

If they really want to represent Ram, then they would never indulge in raping and killing women and children or do the moral policing by going against love.

They are pure shame and digust to the normal hindu community.

  35. Great to see the pink chaddi blog reclaimed.
The competitive reactionaries from all religions are refusing to see the writing on the skies. World cannot be contained in boxes someone else defines, either of ideology or of faith. Each one of us is free to define, alter, change our identities when we want.I am the universe, and we are the world.
For me "Pink" is the meta symbol of beauty, delight, the unbearable lightness of being, "Chaddi" is of inner world, sensousness and feminity. Together its about humour which is slightly mocking, hugely creative and infinitely subversive. It is both spiritual and sexual. So its edgy and delights in life and its madnesses.
For me its a historical signature in opposition to outdated morality of men who have become dinosaurs, and are desperate to reclaim their primacy as dull ,sterile tombs of dead spirit.
And I am a "Hindu" punjabi who lives in bharat des.

  41. Here is some news for the pink chaddis ,

BJP wins 19 out of 28 seats in Karnataka , including Mangalore ( DK ) & all seats in Bangalore, where the chaddis claimed BJP is into moral policing.

Renuka chaudhury , who gave the clarion call for pub bharo LOST her seat.

So stop claiming that the pink chaddi campaign has popular support.

    ReplyDelete
  42. @ The SHIELD... . WAKE UP...THE ENTIRE NATION KICKED YOUR EXTREMIST GROUP ASS IN THIS ELECTION. SO UNDERSTAND THAT THE 70.5 NORMAL HINDUS(excluding 10% of YOU MORONS) DOESNT GIVE SHIT YOU DEVILS WHO USE RAM'S NAME AND GO ON WITH SELFISH AGENDA'S.

NEXT TIME HAVE BALLS TO GET ATLEAST YOUR NAME RIGHT INSTEAD OF USING A FAKE NAME.

@RAVI, Wait for the assembly elections in Karnataka.

Also, PINK CHADDI CAMPAIGN WAS NOT A POLITICAL CAMPAIGN AGAINST BJP, it was against RAM SENA.
The problem with you morons is that either you misinterepret everything or dont have any knowledge of understanding an issue.

Thats the reason NDA got a tight slap nationwide. LOOSER.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @Dave,

dont hold your breath for assembly results. You may die waiting forever.

if as you say the pink chaddi campaign was against ram sena, how does it add up to your earlier statement that "entire extremist group" was kicked in the elections?? Did rama sena contest all loka sabha seats to be defeated? Was ramasena part of NDA ? Do make up your mind before you write.

p.s. looks like too many pints of beer guzzled removing too many pink chaddis from too many loose , forward women has muddled your brain. the word you should have used is "loser" not "looser" . Btw, you fit into the classic definition of a looser ..more here "http://loseloose.com/"

    ReplyDelete
  44. @Ravi,

I really dont have to hold anything, now its the NDA that must be holding...yea you got it right ....

Anyone who involves in communal harmony is a extremist. Also, BJP is one because it was thinking that its hindutva card will work.
So they also fall in extremist groups and there is nothing to think.

Pink chaddi was clearly against the people (ram sena) voilating the constitutional rights of citizens. And they will be very much part of the BJP, its just a gimmick to see how things work because Ram sena cannot exits without some group backing it. We all know which group backs bjp or sena. simple.

The EXTRA 'O' WAS ADDED FOR YOU in LOSER.
BECAUSE IT MAKES YOU A BIG ONE.

Anyway what else can you do at this stage apart from cribbing. keep going.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Dave , way to go ..

now you say "Anyone who involves in communal harmony is a extremist ". To reiterate too many pints of beers with too many loose & forward women has destroyed your grey cells.

The point is pink chaddi gang proclaimed that they have massive public support in bangalore / mangalore, the results prove otherwise.

Btw, Ramasena fought against BJP candidates in last asssembly election & sheila dixit shared stage with muthalik. It was not part of NDA or BJP.

About the extra 0 , even your fellow pink chaddis do not believe you are the grandfather of wren & martin. loser & looser are 2 different words & you did not know the difference , till I pointed it out.

Keep drinking beer & pulling down pink chaddis. You may get enlightened one day.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @ Ravi

i already told you wait till the assembly elections are on. karnataka will catch up just like rajhastan,. Anyway if you are dying out for a pink chaddi... ask moot-a-lick one.

i'm sure you are taking good lessons in english...you guys are so silly, at one hand you dont want to do anything thats not indian culture but you want to learn english, don't oppose cricket (english men's game a better term would be english christians game)...hypocrites.

    This is for your enlightenment...
Ram was an obidient son, Ravana wasnt bad at all. he waited for sita's consent. He didnt rape her or molest her by force.

Ram never hit back at his step mother for sending him to vanvas.

even after ram came back to the throne, the name BHARAT given to the country wasnt changed.

This clearly shows that you guys are devilsena using ram's name in vain and spoiling it. the nation has seen it and gave a fantastic verdict.

Radha Krishna love story is considered as the most intense one though Radha was married to someone else.

Valentines day in one way is a version of Radhe Shyam divas.

whether its khujaraho or sun temple konark(upper floors) they have the most beautiful sex and nude sculptures ...a part of our culture (west has inspired from us)...this shows how forward was india in those times.

anyway...the nation knows how much indian culture you cowards know.

what else can we expect, when the nation is attacked by the terrorists, what was ramsena doing...one hand up their ass and the other one ...need one say??? because unlike the terrorists, the girls and boys were not carrying guns in the pub ... im sure you will piss in your pants if you seen a gun.

anyway all you loOsers (with the capital double big O)... keep sulking because there is nothing much to do but to wait for the next elections.

i'm sure this has been enlightening to you.

    ReplyDelete
  47. LOL.. the losers of Pink Chaddi can't even get a facebook group back. Only a few people check this blog, like me to irritate the pseudo seculars and Hindu haters like Nisha.

And BJP losing.. LOL.. who gives a fuck.. BJP was 2 and 190 in different elections.. so? You mean Hinduism have been strong and weak according to BJP seats? Hinduism doesn't depend upon BJP. But Hindu haters won't know that.

    LOSERS!

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Shield,

The biggest past time for LOSERS is to "surf porn and do it themselves".

Now, if you are not even doing that, it clearly shows you have become good for nothing.
psychologically you are disturbed because you dont have much going on in your personal life, so start khujlifying others. Loser!

  49. Hi,
I saw you have a group of Pink Chaddi and thought you may be interested in taking up the matters against women reservation bill for the following reason.
    1. Experience with caste based reservation shows that reservation does not bring equality.
    2. If reservation for caste is based on percent of population, so should women’s reservation be based on percent of population, i.e.50% and not 33% as proposed.
    3. There is no time frame for the end of reservation period. If it goes on forever, then women will forever be 1/3 of men and never equal.
    4. It is open to abuse as politicians will send their wife/sister/daughter which does not lead to empowerment.
E.g. Rabri devi becoming Chief Minster of Bihar did not lead to her empowerment or those of women in Bihar.
    5. Govt should run empowerment programmes with affirmative actions, instead of reservations.

The reason I'm trying to do this is see if the group can be accessed for other people's campaigns, particularly the govt's anti-tribal run in the eastern parts of resource rich india. Its a sad state of affairs, and nothing is making it in thru media. No one knows abt this corporate-state nexus and a lot of shit is happening in the name of a hyped maoist hunt. Do let me know if we can ideate on how to creatively get a larger "middle class" awareness, sensitisation and involvement creatively and get the bloody nation to stop, discuss and intervene this loss of life and dignity for the adivasi. its horrific!
