We thank the media for their response to the campaign.
This began as an online campaign from all over India and elsewhere. The facebook group alone has 17,000 members now and is still growing.
We are asking all our Bangalore supporters to post pink chaddis directly to Pramod Muthalik, because the response has been too overwhelming.
We have heard that Mr. Muthalik has decided to send pink saris "with love" in response. We greatly appreciate this and hope he continues to choose similar, non-violent methods to get his point across, just as we have chosen to be non-violent and loving in response to the brutality of the attacks on lovers and women in Mangalore and other parts of Karnataka.
We will gladly wear the pink saris.
We're sure that the online collective will have a life of its own, and will continue to grow.
We're still going through with posting our own pink chaddis and those that we have received by many people who are strongly in support of the campaign.

I haven't washed my undies for a days. Its stinking like hell. I can't make it stink worse. It's becoming an unbearable torture for me. I will develop skin disease if I try wearing them any longer. I am asking my friends to send dirtiest of the undies to make this campaign a success.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity... ;)
this man, leader of ram sena....all he wants is popularity....n by starting such forums you are making him more and more popular....y dont u just ignore him...i really like your moment and support it....but still he is achieving what he wants to... that is the sad part of democracy
ReplyDeleteThe first success achieved by the campaign is shown by the fact that Mr Muthalik has agreed to come up to the level of the campaign by promising to send sarees and leave his typical violent responses aside.
ReplyDeleteCongrats.
Lot's to follow i am sure...:)
Sari about that, ladies. Mutalik isn't going to mend his ways in a hurry. Do step up the chaddi work, please.
ReplyDeletehttp://bijoyvenugopal.wordpress.com/2009/02/11/sari-about-that-shri-mutalik/
I agree that it is not right to do moral policing. But I have a question. Where was the condemnation by you people when Taslima Nasreen was molested in Hyderabad by none other than our own MIM law makers in full media glare?? I would have appreciated this if you had condemned that event as well in this manner(by sending pink chaddis to Owaisis)
ReplyDeleteIt is a very peaceful move. Pink color panties are the right gift for Pramod Mutalik and for his blind followers. Sri Ram Sene has brought shame for themselves and to their family members by attacking girl. Mutalik and his men are sick people, the act they performed beating innocent girls in Mangalore has dented the dignity of all women including their own mothers and sisters. Going to pub or any other place is an individual right, both men and women has equal rights in our constituency.
ReplyDeleteMutalik and his men should cover their faces with pink chaddies and apologies women for their dirty and ill act through national television. I wish we had a law that the Saudi government has in place for atrocities and crimes done on women. People like Mutalik are taking advantage of Indian democracy and our law and order.
BJP, RSS, VHP all other Hindi fanatic groups should be banned. They should be dismantled from top to bottom. I hope one day it happens. We need a strong government which can tackle these anti social elements mushrooming in India. These anti social fanatic Hindu groups can do much better work to help the society and nation as a whole. We have much bigger issues in India like poverty, unemployment, population, environment etc.
Mutalik and his followers are assholes.
Congrats for succeeding in drilling some non-voilence into Mr. Mutalik's head!
ReplyDeleteGuys, look he's improved his standard looking at us. He's resorted to peaceful protest. That's cool.
ReplyDeleteWe succeeded in civilising this guy a bit! He's learnt love and unlearnt voilence! His mom must be happy too :)
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteGifting sarees is a nice way to protest. Atleast he seems to have given up his brutal and cheap meantality. I hope this change lasts. Congratulations folks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sarees. This guy seems to have got atleast half the point that was conveyed i.e peaceful and non-violent protests! No force and no voilence! Good..keep the campaign going. I'm sure he'll grow up sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Guys! You have achieved something here by teaching this guy peaceful ways of protest! Everybody has an opinion and one can protest to rest their case, provided the protest is peaceful. Gifting is a unique way to protest! :)
ReplyDeleteI support this cause.
ReplyDeleteGuys, Mutalik is a changed man already. He's given up force and voilence and is choosing peace! We sure did teach him a thing or two.
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't he ask his followers to sport dhoti and kurts? Trousers and shirts are oh so western!
ReplyDeleteI support this not only because I am a Girl.. Because I am an educated girl... I wish the girls who are kept away from studies are educated so that even they understand wat are we trying to do here... N m sure next time the number of supporters would double up...
ReplyDeleteI thought he'll beat up the campaigners being the brute he is! Instead, he's sending them gifts ''with love''! This is a nice transformation. Mutalik can protest peacefully for whatever he wants, he can protest against pubs, val's day, pop corn, western styled toilets etc etc but peacefully! :)
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing shameful about a pink chaddi. It is a piece of cloth. In this case, it is expressed as a symbol of annoyance by women. A rose wouln't last till 14th and a broom is bulky to courier.
ReplyDeletePlease tell Mutalik that we accept his gift with grace and love. Please also tell him whether or not we agree with his point of view, we'll atleast have some respect for him if he gives up his goondagiri.
ReplyDeleteAgree --> A rose wouln't last till 14th and a broom is bulky to courier.
ReplyDeleteSo how will this guy hand over the courting couples to the cops or their parents w/o using force?!
ReplyDeleteEveryone knows why this guy is jealous of courtung couples...
ReplyDeletegirls!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletem a fetish guy who loves female panties which r pink n blue especially wid flower pattern..... n also wears dem inside my jeans for somedays.....also shows some part of the panties especially to young girls n ladies....
so i need links of ur panties showing dos pictures, brand of d panty, rate of dos panties, n wat do u feel about male wearing panties....mind u m not a gay....m straight interested in female but dos panties arouse me.....
Hey guys, me and my girlfriend wont be handed off to the cops if we are celebrating val's day on 13th, right?
ReplyDeletewhy u r frightened to cleberate on 14th... u r not d only one who is celebrating v day...whole world is celebrating......so tell ur gfriend to donate her panties.....so muthalik would get dos n vl send me 2....for ma ual satisfaction....
ReplyDeleteReally guys, to squeeze out a non-voilent and peaceful respose from Mutalik is a big win! We taught him some ''culture''!
ReplyDeleteHere's an idea... why dont we all go to Pub on Vlentine's WEARING A SARI!.. may be pink..
ReplyDeleteis neesha doin side buisness of selling panties on ebay ????
ReplyDeleteif not she can do it online buisness of selling newer and used panties...so dat perverts lyke us can buy dos 4 our desires n satisfactions.....
muthalik 2 can compromise wid neesha by giving her all d panties of free of cost n she can compromise wid me by sending some of the donated newer panties to me..........
AGREE --
ReplyDeleteMutalik can protest peacefully for whatever he wants, he can protest against pubs, val's day, pop corn, western styled toilets etc etc but peacefully! :)
Mutalik should gift the courting couple engagement rings on Val's Day.
ReplyDeletegirls get me some of ur washed chaddis...m craving for dos!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletelet muthalik don wan it but i need dos desperately........
I sniff some success guys. The guy has risen to match our standards and resorted to sending gifts too. Looks like he had given up his dadagini and goondagardi!
ReplyDeleteHow about Indian men? Which culture should they folow?
ReplyDeleteI sniff some success guys. The guy has risen to match our standards and resorted to sending gifts too. Looks like he has given up his dadagini and goondagardi!
ReplyDeleteWe managed to teach him some Gandhigiri.
ReplyDeleteHe can protest against anything..let him just do it in a quiet corner without crossing our paths...
ReplyDeleteI will gladly wear the pink saree. I love sarees and i love my jeans too. Variety is the spice of life!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteYou guys rock! This is a hard slap on the face for him!
ReplyDeleteHats Off to the person who came up with this innovative idea... Time to show them the Dance of Democracy and the color of Love in the form of (PINK CHADDIS)... What an IDEA Sir Ji!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteJust to show that there are no biases, am sending one lady's pink panty, new, and one blue gents undie, used
ReplyDeleteCan I drop my chaddies off at Prabhadevi, Mumbai, tomorrow, ie, feb 12 ?
ReplyDeleteAnd for the Rama Sene : "Kiss my chaddies, the pink one if you like girls, and blue for boys
this pink chaddi campaign is a gr8 idea 2 show those people that they r not the so called "contractors" of society. this is democracy not TALIBAN. everybody have right 2 sepak or to do whatever he wants 2 do other than harming others. nobody n i mean nobody can beat u 4 drinking or 4 dating , v r human beings not animals.
ReplyDeletei really appriciate ndtv sepcially 4 making me aware of this place.
Happy to receive pink sari...will wear it with a noodle strap blouse and go out and get a drink!
ReplyDeleteMr.Mutalik this chadi is not only for you but you can preseve this so that you dont have to buy any more chadis for future.and This pink chadi campaign is a g8 idea.
ReplyDeleteTo the guys who have started this blog and running this campaign:
ReplyDeleteIt is fully understood, that you are trying to malign "Saffron" on behalf of somebody else.
If there are guys among this group, i dare them to do such campaign against a fatwa made by a Maulavi, to prove they have balls.
If not, understand these panties are for you and get some bras too from your fellow campaigners.
Woman who are involved in this, dare you all to send your sisters and daughters to pubs and let them dance nude if you have any of them,( it is understood you dont have father or mother, because if u had them, and if they had given you good values since childhood none of you would never have said something like "sending your panties " and given such publicity)
Beating up a woman or even raising a hand against a woman is wrong and understood.
and the perpetrators are just thugs.
But the unwanted publicity for such incidents , such as ready videographers and such "panty campaign" shows the campaigners are biased and not "passionate".
and when is this consortium going to invest themselves to bring in income?
Since you are "loose" and "forward" and "dont need panties" ,i am sure you all will make lot of money.
do put in your photographs for your future clients to see

In hindu culture there is no stitching, stitching is western technology, so give him 2x2 pink cloth or pink coloured metal pendent
ReplyDeleteI would like to thank Arnab Goswami from Times Now for following up on the Mangalore Incident. It was really a nice and commendable job that you and your team did.
ReplyDeleteI dont know how many more years we have to tolerate all these incidents and the politicians.I think the majority of the uneducated indian population heads a political party.
Mr.Mutalik should keep sarees for himself. If he has so fondness for it and wear it along with 'Pink Chaddi' so as to feel the women power. We Women dont need sarees. Thankyou. we are more comfortable with so called 'western wear'.I am sure he can do better job in keeping the streets of India clean than cleansing the culture (If that is what he thinks he is doing!!!)and keep busy with some real job.
ReplyDeleteIf I get a saree... I will cut it into hundred pink thongs and send it back.
ReplyDelete\m/ Consortium of Pubgoing, Losse and Forward Women \m/
ReplyDeleteI think these guys are collecting pink chaddhi for their mothers..he he he...Pramod mutallik is a man...and we all supprt them.
ReplyDeletePink Chaddi pahankar shayad Pramod Mutalik ki tabiyat hari bhari ho jaye ! Jis Ram sena ki aap baat karte ho wah ravan sena ka kaam kar rahi hai! Ek Bhagwa (Safron) rang ki patti aankhon par bandh kar chalne walon Duniya ke Aur rangon ko bhi jano aur uski Izzat karna seekho !
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea! What use is panties to the loose women anyways? What use is modesty or morals?
ReplyDeleteDo you realize that you are ignorant morons being goaded on by anti-hindu foreign missionary funded media?
When women in Kashmir or pakistan cannot go to school or show their faces, when girls public schools are blown up, how ironic is it for for these 'forward' women to clamor the right to drink or go do drugs in pubs.
Well, I guess Mutalik and Mutalik supporters don't use the western toilets as well... I wonder what they would do if they are in an urgent need and they find only a western toilet around?? I guess they would prefer the open air instead...and show what they excrete... oh yeah they call it the culture u see!!!
ReplyDeleteHindus- take a deep breath and chill for a second. Take a minute to read who is behind the campaign.
ReplyDeleteBeating up women is wrong, nobody condones that but does that make prostitution, drugs, alcohol or immorality right?
Please go to the top of the page and read the list of contacts-
Benson, areeba, nisha susan? definitely hindu sounding names don't you think?
Of course there is always a brown sahib chakka in sameer gandhi, where would India be without the proverbial self-hating indian?
Why all posts are not being displayed????
ReplyDeleteFor those blindly aping western culture, I ask this- when did western garbage become a part of your relishing diet?
ReplyDeleteIf you want to ape the west, go copy their hardwork, enterpreneurship, independence, not their morals, drug usage or sleeping with everything that remotely resembles a hole.
If you hate Indian culture so much then start off by using roman numerals not the decimal system that India gave to the world. And please do not use the english language since it comes from the dreaded indo-european family of language the mother of which is the dreaded sanskrit
I strongly condemn 'pink chaddi' & 'pink condom' campaigns which are suggestive & below Indian standards. We don't require moral policing by anyone but cann't approve pub culture & top less parties as in West. We are happy as Indians & proud of our family values, social threads & Indian culture. Both campaigns are examples of mental bankrupcy among Indian youth & they don't represent us. No Indian would ever send his/her sister/daughter to pub & nude parties.
ReplyDeleteyeah sure what use is panties anyways for the progressive women? Why wear anything when there is no shame? Perhaps this way you can take the attention off your ugly mug.. lol
ReplyDeletehe send saree in response to it.. het saree is lovelly indian womens looks much better in saree then this panties..now what we will send bra lol
ReplyDeleteNude parties? You mean like the Kumbha Mela?
ReplyDeleteWhere else in India is a Nanga Mahotsava?
I have only seen nudity by the lakhs and crores at Kumbha Mela and anywhere else nanga babas are roaming.
Where else is nude party going on?
Nobody is anti-India here. What we need to understand that we are at globalization and a mix of ideas and cultures is inevitable. While the west brags about yoga or about Indian Spiritualism, we are here setting up centres in every nook and corner of the city to learn english! West does relish our diet..tandoori chicken? And we love popcorn or whatever! There are misguided people who cross their limits and even shame the ape while aping. But guys how is having a mutalik going to help? He is as misguided as the guys who over-ape! Nobody can disagree that drinking or dating, if done within the boundaries of decency, is NOT offensive to most people these days! There wouldn't be a concept of love marriage if there was no courting! People who take undue advantage of freedom need a law not a mutalik.
ReplyDeleteMedia's double games.: A message posted in rediff
ReplyDeleteRight from Arushi case to church attacks we have seen many instances where media has overstepped ...
(1).Many girls are brutally mudered in AP , for last six months...one Muslim girl ,Ayesha been raped and murdered ..and the grand son of Cong minister is accused ..media has ignored it.
(2).Sister Abhaya -- media kept quite
(3).Scarlet - murder/Drugs/rape -- media silent
(4).Delhi MBA girl gang rape and Jounalist murder ..media again silent
(5).Kashmir many girls are forced to marry terrorists at Gun point -- media silent
(6).UP ulema banned girls from co-ed schools , central govt is funding them -- media silent
(7).Taslima Nasreen beaten from Delhi to Hyd --media silent
(8).Terror camps in kerala -- media silent
(9).150 RSS/BJP men killed in Kannur dt of Kerala - media silent
(10).150 Talaq-hapless women are beaten - media silent
and many, many and many more ....
Managlore incident or any incident in BJP states media will discuss it days and days together with columns and petitions...
Nobody is really getting carried away with media freedom and all such hypocrisies...
--> In AP media has divided btw, Cong and TDP
--> In Tamil, btw DMK and AIDMK
--> In WB, funded by commies
Right from IBN-CNN, NDTV to TOI there are many reports that these electronic, print, web media been funded by vested interests of regional/religion/caste/business etc...
And what is the deal about Valentine's day? Don't we celebrate birthdays with cakes and candles? Isn't that a western influence? If people are happy celebrating Val's day and if shops are churning money, what is anyone's problem here? Culture-issues? It's very subjective and also differs among individuals. If you have a problem, amend the constitution.
ReplyDeleteThis fight is not about religion or culture. All we need to know is who gives these guys to thrash us up? Why are they not behind bars?
ReplyDeleteNow guys are you going to ban HOLI because people have Bhang openly and color each other? Sure the young guys and girls can misuse this 'culture'!!
ReplyDeleteWhatever, what matters is that we take their gift sportingly and we have succeeded in teaching them a thing about peaceful protest to make a point!
ReplyDeleteClick me and have a look at the picture!
ReplyDeleteAre you supporting this ? Are you this sick and pervert and deprived ? Do you want womenfolk be like this ?

ReplyDeleteThat picture is sad. But what's the logic here? Why are you generalizing issues? Let's not have television and movies because it will corrupt us? Let's not have malls because you will overspend? A misguided person will display his crankiness with or without a pub!
Now guys are you going to ban HOLI because people have Bhang openly and color each other? Sure the young guys and girls can misuse this 'culture'!!
ReplyDeleteman I love this campaign...India Rocks and Pink Chaddi Rocks...this is the message to the Pink Panther..sorry ...sorry...Mr pramod muthalik and his F*** gang...you listen and listen very carefully...you are not the baap of India and let me remind you if you have forgotten that India is a free country. You are no one to tell us what to wear and what not to wear...where to go and what to do...By the way I am sending you a Pink Chaddi but that is the used one as I didnt get time to buy new one for you..and by the way you only deserves that...so...enjoy...Happy Pink Day...
ReplyDeleteGeneralise ? Where were these Taliban Women when these girls were dead drunk and news flashed on TVs ?
ReplyDeleteThis drunk act was a big insult to people of India! And these Talbinaised weomen supporting these kind of drunken acts ?
Ask these Talibanised Women, why they removed the RSS image from this blog ? If it had to be removed, why did they put it in the first place ? Coward Taliban Women!
@ clickme
ReplyDeletethe picture looks suspisciously similar to images from the meerut attack. is that women drunk? has she been beaten up, as in the case of the mangalore pub attacks? i doubt anyone would have clear answers to that.. and i wouldn't trust yours for sure!

ReplyDeleteThat Pic is sad Indeed.... rather lousy and filthy...
ReplyDeleteI'd say dare to think beyond the fundamental artificial projection embed by blind followers of the fanatic western culture..
People are screaming as if somebody got raped.. none of you were concerned when a girl in Noida got RAPED by10 guys few days back.. none of you.. and you are upfront in such a sissy cause..
I see more depressed young people now days.. why?? Its a western trend.. stand?? Get drunk.. get doped.. have sex... one night stand..
Whom are we running from.. everybody knows 95% of ''REGULAR'' pub going majority are drinkers on the loose...
You people are born on the wrong side of the planet.. Shift to UK US or Europe... get drunk.. dance all night.. have sex.... and get depressed.... India is not a place for loose character people....
I neither support Pink condom nor Pink Chaddi... both of the parties are freak and sick... none of you are true Indian in any spirit... I repeat none of you... go and live in some distant land..
Also a note for RAVAN sena:: morons learn to respect women (no matter if they are drunk).... Respect them.... and if you really hate female drinkers... first ban male drinkers...
In any case the idea is... ban liquor..
Have marijuana.. or hash.. I'm telling you better than drink... hehe..
Wish every tree were made of marijuana :)
Make MARIJUANA legal :|
It's a pity that even mentally retarted people use the net these days! hehe look at the above comment regarding MARIJUANA... Just look at the begining of the comment and the way that person has ended the comment?? Doesn't it sound as if a moron has commented?

ReplyDeletedo u understand a little sense of humor when things are so stiff.... or does tht hit below your belt??? wear a thinking cap fagot.. It's hard to get the big picture when you have such a small screen (and brain)... so make a mental note... oh,I see you're out of paper!!! poor you....

ReplyDeleteactually this bastard wanted the people to attack on him and when he saw the ladies will send him pink chaddis he been defensive . Now why doesnt he be aggressive because he knows he cant fight with so many and when he has only 40 to 50 terrorists .
ReplyDeleteIf he is really the moral police why doesnt he go to the villages and distribute these sarees to them ? he was saying he would make the couples get married i wanna ask him that for this moral police does marriage mean only to make someone get married and later on shouldnt worry how his marriage is going on ? if he makes someone marry before it he should get the permission of their parents then he should help them all the life if they face any problem . actually this bastard needs to be beaten up on the road because some of the organisation such as SRS VHP ABVP BAJRANG DAL SHIV SENA these organisation have acted like TALIBANIS OF INDIA and they must be eradicated soon from this country . I am writing it with the name anonymous because my name it is not accepting or else with pride i would have posted my name
Great!!! Send these sick pink chaddis to RSS, BJP, VHP, Baj Rang Dal, Shiv Sena etc too!!!
ReplyDeleteRSS is the real culprit & thier diferent offshoots are the tools to achieve thier nefarious objective......
Lets throw out the BJP,VHP,Baj Rang Dal and all sena be it shiv, ram, ranvir etc.
Even krishna had crores of affairs, Ram too did not went shooting mindless even when his own wife got abducted, kunti had son's out of wedlock, pandva shared thier brother's wife etc.
And this idiotic thugs a living failures are trying to teach us what morality is, what culture is etc all in facade of deft nationalism & religion. Fuck these bastards.
Not only send them pink chaddis but start hitting them on streets.... let them get the tastes.
Religion is like condom or toothpaste, which one wants to use or even not to use is his or her wish & perogative and not someone's else forced opinion.
Ask RSS, BJP, VHP, Baj Rang Dal, Ram Sena, MNS, Shiv Sena, Durga Vahini etc to stop thier mother & daughter finger & hand which they use to molest themselves if they want to police then police thier own family members but not others.
Great work !
ReplyDeleteSomething more is required to defame India. Great approach ! What Mutalik did was fully wrong but what these people are going to do is more shameful. Women are taking initiative to this type of protest ? What you want to Show ?
Only that you are only goods to be used ? Why you want to be loosed ? Only to be used as a toy ? Why sending only Chaddies, go further send Your undergarments or more if you do not mind why not present yourself before those goons to be used ?
Shame
on all you to support such vulgarity and following blindly the western culture. What this culture will give you ? Only loneliness, frustration and the feeling of been used . All the decent women refrain from such acts only those who do not have any respect for elders and their ethos indulge in such acts. These women are those who want to drink and get "Used" by everyone.
And the men joining them are only those who want to exploit them. Is there anyone who will take his wife, daughter, sister along with him to the pub and present them to someone for enjoying sex and wine ?? No, no one will do this but they can do this with their so called girlfriends as they know that they are not going to marry them and some other persons life will get ruined. But do not worry there is a circle.....
I am a 'pubgoing, loose and forward woman' and proud of it. I do, however, hold slightly different views on the pink chaddis. here's my take on it - http://mysticmargarita.blogspot.com/2009/02/sisterhood-of-traveling-pink-panties.html. I'd welcome your views on it.
ReplyDeleteGreat !, so you folks are forward and loose women. Whoo..point taken...
ReplyDeleteDid you know, ancient royalty for that matter common people in India used to drink alcohol ?, even the mugal women folk drank toddy (indian beer).
The point is this, you can have orgies, binge parties, etc, but do in your house, not in the open, it offends people, especially if you consider yourself part of the Indian ethos, if you consider yourself westernized, hig, and all bling bling because you are christian, think again, Christians in the west are more conservative than you think.
Good going Nisha cusanne or whatever, you have started the movement, just like gandhi, why dont ya start dancing around a pole just to make a point :), i am sure a lot of folks will be there to watch it.
So all the gals who sent pink undies to Pramod Mutalik are getting pink saris from him.
ReplyDeleteBut a lot of guys have sent their pink chaddis to Pramod Muthalik.
How is P Muthalik going to show his love to all of these guys?
Buy cutting of their ***s :)
ReplyDeleteGood Work !
ReplyDeleteIt is great to know that such a huge mass is gathering against the act of Mutalik. What Mutalik’s men did is surely condemnable, no one has any right to attack physically anyone and moreover no one can force anyone to follow his wish. It is great to protest any such act but do not let this forum be converted into a platform for the people who do not care for any human values. Try to abstain from such people who are there only to disgrace the Cultural values. We own great culture and the West also accepts its significance. People tormented by that lifestyle are now looking towards East for relief.
Western culture appeals as it gives immense pleasure and freedom but it is only short lived. Its consequences are only and only loneliness, pain and unsatisfying thirst. So everybody just try to get only the best from it not the bad. Your campaign is a great step towards ensuring the freedom of living but I believe that some points should be kept in mind…
1. Are you supporting drinking wine and consuming other drugs? If yes, do you think these things help in betterment of life of a person, his family, his society, nation and overall human race?
2. Are you supporting openness in sexual relations ? If yes, do you think that this openness provides true pleasure and ultimate satisfaction? Will you allow your wives, daughters, mothers and sisters or your husbands, sons, fathers, brothers to be engaged freely into sexual relationships with others?
3. Are you supporting women to be transformed into usable goods ? Will this act help women get respect in the society ?
4. Are you supporting men/women to be free enough to change their partners as frequently as they wish ? Will this strengthen the social structure ? Will this ensure a stable society that is must for the well being of citizens.
5. Are you supporting the young guys n gals to be transformed into such persons that do not have any respect for their elders and the elders are considered as waste ? If yes, then what will happen to the young ones once they grow old ?
6. Are you supporting that women need to follow men in their behavior, clothing, attitude, approach ? If yes, then where we will get gentle feelings ?
7. Are you going to stretch this campaign to address other social issues ?
Just a waste of time , money. Why cannot people of India put their energy into something that is more constructive in nature. I am sure if these people who are exchanging chaddi's and saris are asked to contribute Rs 10 each for poor they would simply refuse.
ReplyDeleteIndian are emotional and that what drives them to join such gropups - whether Chaddi's or SRS group. In the end eiher there is only one person who will get all the publicity and in two months time everything will be past like what happened to Mumbai Attack.
Schoolgirl commits suicide
ReplyDeleteMANGALORE: A 15-year-old schoolgirl hanged herself to death at Mulky in Dakshina Kannada on Wednesday morning after she was publicly humiliated by a suspected Hindutva fringe group, according to eyewitness accounts. Superintendent of Police N. Sathish Kumar, however, denied the involvement of any group in her death.
According to Rafique, a helper in a bus, the victim and another girl boarded the bus at Kinnigoli village at 12 noon on Tuesday. The girls, both students of the Aikala PU College, got off at Moodbidri along with Abdul Salim, with whom one of the girls was friendly. As they were walking towards Venoor, a group of suspected Hindutva youths allegedly accosted them. The girls were berated for being friendly with someone from another religion and all the three were beaten up. The bus, on its return journey, was stopped by another group that dragged Rafique out and thrashed him. He was taken to the place where Salim and the girls were held.
The captors then called Moodbidri SI Bharathi G., who took the four to the police station. The parents of one of the girls were summoned and Salim was allegedly forced to write a letter of apology. The girl and her family were said to have been humiliated at the station by a mob.
The next morning, the girl committed suicide. After her death, Salim was arrested following a complaint by her father of rape and abetting in the suicide of a minor.

Great Going, Happy Valentine Day...
let's ROCK ON
@ shivram This is not about consuming wine or cavorting with the opposite sex. This is about women being able to make their own decisions about their bodies without interference from their neighbors, their families or religious whackos. Just because a woman cares to go outside with bare shoulders does not make her a streetwalker. Do you seriously believe that any Western woman drinking in a bar will drop her drawers for anonymous sex? If your answer is yes, you need to stop watching so many back episodes of the O.C. and understand that Western woman is someone's daughter and possibly a wife and mother.
ReplyDeleteBack when I lived in Turkey, I encountered similar attitudes on a daily basis: that as a Western woman, I must be "easy" while local women were something to be sheltered. Women have served as heads of state, top diplomats and as military commanders. I think those with two X chromosomes have proven capable of handling themselves, thank you. Three cheers to Indian women! http://is.gd/iopt

The Consortium of Pub Going, Loose and Forward Women have launched a below the belt attack against the inSene with their extraordinary Pink Chaddi campaign. Kudos to you for the consciousness raising, but I’m not quite sure how effectively it will dissuade the goon-squad or more importantly the government which empowers such people. Unless I’ve completely misjudged the inSene, receiving pink panties (especially used ones) is going to send them into a sexual frenzy. These chaps are so repressed they most likely palpitate every time they walk past a lingerie store. After all, their frustration with girlfriends emanates from the inability to ever have one themselves. On the up-side the inSene are probably going to beat each-other over possession of the Pink Chaddis.
ReplyDeleteWhile the Pink Chaddi campaign will undoubtedly raise awareness amidst a section of the public, a stronger reaction is required to send out the message to a wider audience, especially if we expect the government to take us seriously. Since our wise fathers of the Supreme Court have declared that protests and bandhs are legitimate means of expressing the people’s feelings in a democracy perhaps it’s time to take the issue onto the streets, as a referendum against government inaction. We need a show of strength to let the inSene know that the numbers are on our side, the side that values human rights. Those who think I’m overreacting should realize that there are larger issues here than pubbing and dating. The recent incidents are symptoms of growing intolerance, fanaticism and religious fundamentalism; in a single word - Talibanization. If we hold candle light vigils for our martyrs then why shouldn’t we do the same for the death of our Freedom? If we hold hands to protest communal violence why shouldn’t we do the same for our dignity?
On 14th Feb, I plan to strut around town with my girlfriend, arm wrapped around her waist, stealing kisses whenever the public is looking. With her permission of course.
“I am Neither the member of Sriram Sena nor the Other side of the Rope”
ReplyDeleteA True Indain “
Why this Blog? What is the intension of this? Is this is the reason for Fight?
Hey Youth, we (Indians) are facing lot of problems in current situation. Look in to that and do the best for the next generation.
We have good leaders like APJ Abdul Kalam, who has the vision about our country for 2020. Cant you people utilize this sprit for that?
The reason behind this problem is simple. Raising hands against Girls is wrong. Totally wrong.
According to Indian culture Girls are considered as Goddess. Every body has his/her own private space to live.
Think about the reason from other Angle. Why it is not happening for the most of the Girls in India?
You should understand kind of the people who has already done the mistake. These people are not the representation of a common Indian.
Now what these two Groups are doing? They are trying to prove the statement that whatever they have done is right. Everyone will do mistakes; my suggestion is please understand the mistake.
Don’t try to make public FOOLS by proving your stupidity.
See the way of protesting these two groups. Is it the way to? You have to understand we, Indians have our own culture. By posting your comments in these bloges will not raise the value of our country and culture among other countries.
People are misusing the technology and their energy for unwanted things. I am from Bangalore, what I have seen here is every one looking for a cause for celebration doesn’t matter whom will it affect and how it affect the value of our Country and culture.
According to me, if you want to understand what is democracy you should know what is Talibanism. Hey friends, do you think is it possible at Afghanistan? We all are misusing the freedom of Democracy.
Why such a good response from people?
These two bloges where very successful to choose the way of protesting. All the youngsters (I believe) very much happy with the theme. We can’t blame them.
But people who has organized they know this is the only way to pull the crowd.
Think twice before supporting these two groups,
Team1
A group of people who went PUB at night time with girls and beaten by Group of other people are trying or forcing you to send a Pink Chaddi to Other group.
Team2
A group of people who has beaten Girls and Trying or forcing you to send a Pink Condum to Other Group.
Don’t you think that, if you are doing so you are supporting either of the one Group? Really you want to?
As being as an Indian my humble request is don’t appreciate such movements which are against our Country. There is nothing to do with our country or culture. There are lot of ways to Bring our country among other Country.
Please keep your hand close to your heart and say “ I am proud to be an Indain”.
A TRUE INDIAN.
~Dilip.
The trollers have ensured the group is blocked by FaceBook. 4-5 people have won against 30000 +. Says it all.
ReplyDeletePregnant teenager hatches own abduction
ReplyDeleteNoida (Uttar Pradesh A 16-year-old Class 10 girl staged her own ‘abduction’ in connivance with her boyfriend in order to undergo an abortion, police said Friday.
Tanvi, a student of J.P. International School in Greater Noida, hatched the plot of her abduction with boyfriend Faizi on Thursday. She was six-months pregnant and had got herself admitted to a private nursing home here for the abortion, police said.
Senior Superintendent of Police A. Satish Ganesh said: “Tanvi phoned her parents Thursday afternoon that three unidentified people, including a woman, forced her into a car while she was returning from school. She said they took her to the Greater Noida Express highway and blindfolded her.
“She said that her abductors kept her in a dark room and when she managed to open a window to ask a passer-by about the area, she was told it was in a remote place in Bareilly,” Ganesh added.
Tanvi immediately disconnected her mobile, leaving her family in a tizzy.
Her family approached the nearby Kasana police station and a special police team was constituted to search for her.
Meanwhile, her parents told police that she had only one friend, her classmate Faizi, with whom she was very close.
Ganesh said upon inquiry it was found that the boy was also missing. “This aroused suspicion that the duo might have run away together. We put their mobile phones on surveillance.
“Their cell phone records revealed that they were in a city hospital. She had got herself admitted there for an abortion. When we reached there with her family, she had already undergone the surgery,” Ganesh added.
Police arrested Faizi, Minu Aggarwal, the doctor who performed the abortion, and a ward boy Rashid Khan.
The girl told police that she was in love with the boy and they had been into an intimate relationship for the past six months.
“We did all this (abduction drama) in order to get time for the abortion. We were apprehensive that it would bring bad fame to our families. We apologise for the entire episode,” she said.
Any estimate on the chaddi count at various collection centres???
ReplyDeleteWe are not aware if Lord Rama has given his consent for attacking girls in the pub.
ReplyDeletePeople like Pramod Muthalik and his goons would have been dealt by law of the land and would have been behind bars had he been in any country like USA, where the law works.
Majority( 99 %) of India is an illitrate, corrupt, lawless, over populated, anarchical, poor, underdeveloped, malnourished, borderless, etc country where people like Pramod Muthalik thrive and do every thing for pesonal gain.
Looks like he is achieving it. Watch out! he will encash it soon.
The whole sysetem also supports such people. It is time to put such people in their right place i.e behind bars.
Our fight/struggle etc may have started but they outlive such movements because they bank on short public memory(due to inumerable problems).
It is that we have to outlive. Then there is victory.
sudhakar
FYI facebook group isnt blocked!! Its working just fine. This is in response to someone who thinks 4-5 ppl won against 30000.
ReplyDeleteLadies, I find it hard to believe that Pramod Muthalik has learned non-violence so fast. I'll be delighted if you get pink saris, but I'll also be amazed. Please think twice before you give your names and addresses to Sri Rama Sene. I honestly think he's more likely to send his bully boys than a present.
ReplyDeleteHave people seen how this could be a profitable venture? A chaddi costs Rs 40 at the most. Whereas a sari costs Rs 300 at least.
ReplyDeleteHow about selling the sarees and minting money (and plausibly giving it to charity)?

ReplyDeletema dick is just 6 inches long...how cum u can tie it to the neck...f***er ur dick might hav been tied to ur neck.....by cutting it from the body by RS........

ReplyDeleteDear PC campaign coordinators,
ReplyDeleteThere are three things I'd like to say: one, thanks and congratulations on successfully shifting the terms of the debate from violent to non-violent, and doing it with humor and creativity. Two, I hope the saris Muthalik sends out will empower women -- would be nice if they were not polyester and factory-made (which means they're likely made by men), but handwoven cottons that are more likely to support the livelihood of women. And thirdly, could you please vet comments before they appear, so that space is not wasted on faaltus like amarjyotishi above? Again, thanks and congratulations.
Looks like the man (mutalik) has withdrawn his plans of disrupting bangalore's valentines fun!!! Hmmm ... interesting that he says "it’s because of anti social miscreants" ha ha ... what a joke - has he considered the fact that HE IS ONE OF THEM???? Anyway, I feel sad for the cities like Mangalore, Hubli and Dharward where he is growing his tentacles and hope they are able to eradicate him and his group and throw them out …
ReplyDeleteHey these guys who have injured women folks should be in prison, no one has the right to judge any one especially in regards to going to a pub its an individual right and their family's right to make the decision. India is a Democratic country and not a monopolistic country so every person should remember that.. and these people who are corrupting the culture saying its tradition should be put behind bars.. then ban the govt for giving rights to entrepreneurs to open pubs why blame or punish the people especially women folks..the more you try to stop the more things get worse it a psychological action.. so who ever is supporting this kind of nonsense pl. stop it and let the women and the nation as a whole live in peace.... don’t be egoistic and selfish and impose your views to others.. and if atall you want something like this to stop first every man SHOULD STOP DRINKING.. FIRST CORRECT YOURSELF EVEN BEFORE YOU CAN SEE THE SPEC FROM YOUR NEGIBHOURS EYE

ReplyDeleteTALIBANIZATION in PU DENTAL COLLEGE CAMPUS
Ram sene has company at Dr.HSJ Institute of Dental Sciences, Chandigarh, in its Director, Prof Gauba.who believes in strict Dress code for females, and reportedly imposes fine for non-compliance.
I wonder how Salwar Kameez for females in Professional Colleges ( as dress code) can convey sence of sincerity to the patients when the same is not applicable to males. Surprisingly this expression has received endorsed by INDIAN Express, Chandigarh.
Pasted below is the news item in IE dated: Dec, 20, 2008
Dental college makes its presence felt
Neelam Sharma

Chandigarh : It has been nearly three years since the Dr H S Judge Institute of Dental Sciences was established at the Panjab University (PU) campus. While the institute has seen lean periods where it had to battle out faculty crunch, in hindsight, the institute, which caters to nearly 250 patients every day, has managed to cut the patient load at the region’s biggest hospital, PGI.
“We have adopted an open registration system where new patients can walk in anytime between 9 am and 4 pm and get themselves registered by paying Rs 5. The OPDs are open till 4 pm and the patients find it very convenient to walk in as per their convenience unlike the other hospitals with strict morning registration timings,” says director principal, Professor K Gauba.
With 100 dental chairs, each with an investment of over Rs 1 lakh and as many phantom heads for the practical learning of students, the institute also offers 18 courses in dental specialties.
“We have an exclusive computerised X-ray facility, called RVG. The facility enables us to get the X-ray done for the whole denture. We also give the complete dentures to all our patients, and do not restrict policy for only the select patients,” he adds.
But with the student strength of 300 (intake of 100 students per year), the faculty strength of 70 falls way below the sanctioned strength.
This problems gains prominence with the visit of the team of the Dental Council of India (DCI) scheduled in the near future to determine the affiliation of the institute.
With six posts for professors, ten for readers and eleven posts for lecturers lying vacant despite advertising for them nearly seven times, the institute has pinned their hopes on a fresh advertisement due to come in a short while.
“With the private sector hospitals offering huge salary packages, we have not been able to fill up the posts. But, ever since the new pay scales have been announced in the Sixth Pay Commission, we are hopeful that it would generate some interest among candidates,” says Professor Gauba.
Dental students: a different group on the campus
There are two things that separate the dental students from others on the campus. First, jeans and casuals are strictly banned on the premises and second, a strict attendance requirement of 75 per cent that is adhered to in spirit. “Girls come in salwar kameez and boys in formal shirts and trousers. The dress code is maintained despite pressure from various student bodies. It is important that students convey a sense of sincerity to the patients who come in pain,” says Professor Gauba. As for the attendance, 40 students were detained last year for shortage of attendance.
Please don't be decieved by Muthaliks statement that they have withdrawn the protest in Bangalore on Valentine's Day..because some anti social elements are using the RAMA SENA's name to create trouble.
ReplyDeleteIn fact it is their own masterplan to send goons and create trouble and save their name and the BJP government.
They have already decided whom they will target with full support of police bandobast.
Protect yourselves...and don't be a fool !
Hi,
ReplyDeleteIm posting this with immense pleasure, and im really happy and proud that gals like Nisha Susan who has been brave n bold to have taken the initiative to fight against these anti-social elements who doesnt even know the meaning of VALENTINE'S DAY or be it anything about HUMANITY.. Here is a forwarded mail that I received. Wonder if its possible
ReplyDelete"It has finally come down to show of numbers. The recent attacks in Mangalore and the longstanding harassment at the hands of moral police has led the lovebugs, and those who empathise with them, to come out and show their strength. Couples all over the country, regardless of their age, gender, or sexuality, have decided to come out and show everyone their unwillingness to get intimidated, caught off guard, and being ran over. They are picking up public spots of notice in every city or town and gathering there on the February the 14th sharing a synchronised symbolic kiss with their loved ones. There is going to be an online campaign run through various social networking sites like Orkut and Facebook, SMS and forwarded mails for the week upto the 14th. Couples in a city decide where they want to have their congregation and at a time set in advance lovers all over the country share the symbolic kiss, together.
The mail is doing rounds and those familiar with social networking sites and other modes of communication are working on respective ends. Do your bit and help organise the biggest protest organised ever, with a kiss.
Be loved."

The female organisers and female followers of this "consortium" are very badly seduced by the Ram Sena, especially its top brass.

ReplyDeleteI agree this group is here to protest against the SRS, but the actual root cause for all this are the politicians, who are intern supporting such atrocities & hooliganism......for ex: the Karnatka govt seems to have done nothing to get these guyz under control & recently some pub going women were again assaulted/molested in Bangalore!!!
ReplyDeleteSo its high time a similar message was sent to the Karnataka chief minister too, we don't care its BJP whose supporting them or the congress, but they as law makers are answerable to us.
How about sending "bangles" to the all the politicians, where ever such things happen, starting from Karnataka.
Sajan,
ReplyDeleteWhy the heck you think she will send anything to Bishops? Her campaign was funded by churches , bishops and congress italian sonia party and you expect her to work against them? And her employer is getting funds from churches..

Hi Everybody,
ReplyDeleteI am national general secretary of the Sri Ram Sena and I had invited Susan over the phone to have a debate and post it on her blog. I had also assured her that if she proved logical I will volunteer myself as the chaddi campaigner. Susan must come forward on this most democratic proposal otherwise I shall believe that the pen of my journalist friend is sponsered like her boss.
This is a great oppurtunity to prove that you are not one among the lucky loafers.come on......
Vinay Singh
I wish they put the photos of all those woman & woman
ReplyDeletewho donated their "chaddies" and want to go to pubs in newspaper.
Since they can publically do such nuisance, they can be seen by public too
Hi guys , I have read all the comments posted here . They are interesting. Even I strongly condemn what has happened in Mangalore. It is unfortunate that , this happened in a democratic country. However I just need a small clarification from these pub goers. Goin to pub is a western culture and you have adapted is exceptionally well. But , have we adapted the good things which we see in westernes. I don`s think so. Our people still violate the rules. Foreigners question our integrity. Recently when i have visited Europe , I have realised why we are lagging behind. Here , people take everything for granted. I am not saying that , westerners do not have bad qualities or bad behaviour. We tend to adapt bad things fast as they are easy to adapt. Before closing I just wanna add, it is not wrong to go to pubs , but follow a disciplined life. India has a great history and culture , which westerners do not have. Let us protect it. Jai Hind.
ReplyDeletewe need to realize that saint valentine has nothing to do with indian culture and if we want to celebrate love .. lets find our love day ... lets find out own lust day ... my only problem is not use the x-tian day as your day.
